She has a special interest in telling stories for the heritage industry, in which she has worked for more than ten years as an educator, storyteller and curator.

Kirsty has a relaxed fireside style suitable for intimate gatherings, but is equally comfortable with high-energy, theatre-style performance. She enjoys telling traditional tales from all over the world, and also stories drawn from history, often interweaving elements of art, science or myth. She is a writer too, has lived abroad, enjoys travelling and likes to bring local colour to all her storytelling.
