He is a storyteller and multi-artist with a wide range of experience from pre-school to young adults. He is a performer with an international reputation including Palestine, Australia and New Zealand. He pioneered English language storytelling in South America with Dream On Productions. He performs in Festivals, theatres, arts centres etc. and many community and educational settings, trains in adult storytelling and presents storytelling at conferences.
A performance Arts Teacher for over 20 years he uses the powerful tools of storytelling and storymaking in a range of educational projects and residencies including collaborations with other artists. He led Talking Sense, an acclaimed project for developing anti-bullying, social skills and behaviour management. He established and run the Young Storyteller of the Year for over 15s and the innovative Storytellers Hiring Fair. He co-ordinates and manages several projects in the UK including Storytelling Cafe, the country’s most successful storytelling series for adult audiences. He is a director of the Birmingham-based Traditional Arts Team.
